You can watch the horses exercising in the early morning light on the famous gallops – Warren Hill is a good viewing spot.

We recommend a visit to the National Stud where you can have a tour. There is also a coffee shop serving homemade cakes and snacks.

Newmarket is also home to the National Horse Racing Museum, which is part of the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing & Sporting Art. The centre’s patron is Her Majesty The Queen.
