Spring is coming! The daffodils and snowdrops are up at the pub and we can’t wait for those days when we can make use of our lovely garden and eat outside – but in the meantime we have planned all sorts of exciting events at The Three Hills for these coming few months, so keep an eye on our website and in the pub for updates, and like/follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. We will do our best to keep you informed.


Gift voucher giveaway!

We will be giving away two £50 Three Hills Gift Vouchers at the end of March. All you have to do to have a chance of winning is book a table in March and eat a main course, (either from our A La Carte Menu or our Bar Menu), and your name will be entered into the draw. The more often you book and eat, the greater your chance of winning! If you aren’t the booker you can still enter the draw – so long as we have your email contact details and you have eaten a main course you are eligible.

Walk ins – we love you but you need to book or be part of a booked table to qualify for this promotion.

Share the love this Spring

Have you tried any of the new sharing boards featured below? The perfect size for two people for a light lunch or supper, or for four people as a starter, we also have a Profiteroles Sharing Board for dessert (if you can bring yourself to share!). Not pictured here, but just as yummy, we have a Vegan Board with salt roasted beetroot, pomegranate quinoa, sweet kale, radish, chicory, seville orange, rocket, charred peppers and celeriac remoulade. If you are more of a meat person, try our Meat Board featuring a pork and venison sausage roll, a selection of cold meats, chargrilled chorizo, harissa chicken wings, mature cheddar, balsamic onions and apricot chutney. Baked Camembert
Who doesn’t love dipping into a baked camembert? Ours is flavoured with rosemary, honey and walnuts and served with an assortment of breads, an heirloom tomato salad, olives and balsamic rocket.

Hot Fish Board
Enjoy king scallops in the shell, langoustines, sous-vide king prawns, and butter poached mussels, served with samphire grass, a kedgeree scotch egg, bloody mary sauce and a squirt of lemon.

Profiteroles
Our new profiterole dish is the perfect sharing dessert. Fill your own profiteroles with fresh cream, dip into either chocolate or salted caramel sauce, and pop into the mouth. Mmm!


Banana Blossom – you tell us – is this the next vegan food star?

If you thought you’d given up fish for ever come and try our new banana blossom dish. Banana blossom, also known as a “banana heart”, is a fleshy, purple-skinned flower, shaped like a tear, which grows at the end of a banana fruit cluster. Traditionally used in south-east Asian and Indian cooking, it can also be eaten raw and its chunky, flaky texture makes it an ideal substitute for fish. We serve ours in a light tempura batter, with thyme roasted baby potatoes, fresh peas, beans and chives. Come and try it and tell us what you think.


Slow braised beef chilli

This has to be one of our favourite dishes. Marinated chunks of beef, slowly braised in rich spiced red wine, with kidney beans, mixed peppers, and cardamon, served with coriander rice, sour cream and avocado. A real winner!


Mothering Sunday 22nd March

Bring your children to The Three Hills over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend for some bunny cuddling time. Collect eggs with Michelle, receive a cream egg (if they eat all their lunch!) and cuddle the bunnies and guinea pigs.
