If you want a table under our very lovely canopy on the terrace you will need to book. We charge a  non refundable deposit of £10 per person for these bookings.  You are more than welcome just to walk in and take your chances with the weather.

We have a 24 hour notice policy on all deposits. If you cancel or amend your table size 24 hours prior to the time of your booking your deposit will be refunded in full. Any cancellations or amendments made after the 24 hour period will mean that we will retain the deposit - in full for cancellations and in part (£10/person) for any amendments.

Yes - if you are sitting on the grass you will have a slightly limited menu. We have tried to focus on items which are easy to eat and easy to transport should it bucket down with rain.

If you would like a table under the canopy we encourage you to book on-line. If there is no availability this is usually because we are fully booked. You are always welcome to come as a walk-in - we have plenty of space on the grass.

We have eight powerful heaters and we will do our best to ensure that most tables booked outside have their own dedicated heater. This is not always possible though as we have more tables than heaters so please ensure you wear adequate clothing and bring something warm to snuggle into. Hot water bottles are a good idea!

Of course - anyone is welcome anytime we are open to come for a drink and there is no need to book. You will still need to check in at the horse box for track and trace purposes.

Current regulations limit us to tables of six, or two households of any number. This may mean that we ask you to sit on two separate but adjoining tables. We are not trying to ruin your fun - but we do want to try and keep you and our staff safe.

As a dog friendly pub we are delighted if you want to bring your four footed friend or friends. We do ask that you keep them on a lead whilst you are visiting us. Dogs are welcome in the bar, on the covered patio or on the grass areas. We do not allow dogs in the restaurant.

We no longer accept cash as a form of payment.

You can bring your own wine if you would prefer. We charge a corkage fee of £15 for a standard 750ml bottle, or £30 for a magnum.

We charge a small fee of £2.50 per person if cake is brought in and consumed on the premises. If you order ice cream to go with the cake this fee is waived.

We are open for lunch every day from Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 2:00pm and on Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. Last bookings are taken 15 minutes before closing time.

When you come to The Three Hills you should expect the same level of friendliness and service that you always have. In line with current regulations all staff and customers must wear a mask when visiting The Three Hills, and when moving around the property. Masks can be removed when seated at a table.  For further details click here for our Clean and Safe Charter.
