What an amazing night! To come home crowned as the Best Country/Rural Pub in the UK by the Great British Pub Awards was an amazing accolade for our little pub. To say we were shocked was an understatement! It is the closest we will ever get to feeling as though we had won an Oscar! As the following article explains, the GBPAs, which have been running for more than two decades, are the sector's leading awards, recognising the best pubs in the country across a range of categories.
