Well, we did it. If you came to eat with us on Saturday 11th July you will probably not have been aware of the many technological problems that beset us five minutes from opening and continued to present a challenge throughout service - our newly updated EPOS system refused to take walk in tables, our kitchen printer wasn't sending out tickets, and our payment systems weren't working...but the staff were brilliant! Despite a brand new way of doing things our team rose admirably to the challenge. Customers were fabulous - everyone was genuinely delighted to be out again.
Sunday, our first full day, was equally as fantastic - the sun shone, the picnic benches in the garden filled up, the covered patio was full, and it felt like old times once again. Thank you to everyone who came - we are enormously grateful and we look forward to a successful summer!
